Located in the bushy suburb of Gymea Bay, this rear extension and backyard landscape renovation completely transformed the presence of this once quant home. With a plethora of entertaining spaces and a practical open living plan, this house was turned into a dream home. The design captures a northerly aspect and a well balanced solar access and ventilation. A slow combustion wood heater was incorporated for ambient’s and lower energy costs in winter. Natural materials were implemented throughout such as a custom designed tv cabinet and also the ensuite vanity top from reclaimed blackbutt timber.
